• The XB herd has been mated to Samen over the last three years

• Bred for udder confirmation and capacities.

• The XB herd breeding was CRV, Samen, LIC

• The cows receive 500kg of PK blend over the season

• At herd test, the XB content of herd were 2.15 M/S per cow

• The mating is started, why wait to compact the calving spread.  They have great response to this.  

• The only CIDR used are on the first calvers if necessary.

• All first calvers are milked once a day for first season.

• SCC ran at 90,000 last year.

• All cows treated with teat seal and any over 100,000 are dry cow treated as well.

• The in-calf heifers and calves are also for sale.
